Day 1: Arrival Queen Alia Airport — Amman
Arrival at Amman Queen Alia International airport. Our represenative will wait for you to help you with visa procedures. Your driver will wait for you in the arrival hall, also holding a name sign and he will transfer you to your hotel in Amman for overnight, including breakfast.
Day 2: Amman – Petra
After breakfast transfer directly towards the south to Petra. Today you will enter Petra via the traditional way, via the Siq. Visit the Treasury, Street of Facades, Theatre and the Colonnaded Street. After you still have time to visit the High Place of Sacrifice! It is a lot of climbing but definitely worth the views or you could hike from the theatre via Wadi Farasa up to the High Place of Sacrifice. This route is not taken by many tourists and so you are going off the beaten track. You can have lunch at a restaurant inside Petra.

After your visit to Petra, there are a few other options.
– Turkish bath: a steam bath, a scrub and soap massage at the local Hammam.
– Petra Kitchen participate cooking with local women under the supervision of a local chef from19.00 until 21.00 or a little later, the price includes a 3 course meal/menu to prepare with other guests and to dine together. Water, tea, coffee and soft drinks are included. (Alcohol is available for a surcharge).
– Petra by Night (each Monday, Wednesday and Thursday evening). Visit Petra lighted by candles, through the Siq until the Treasury. With a traditional Bedouin sitting at the Treasury, music and storytelling.
Day 3: Petra – Wadi Rum
After breakfast drive to Wadi Rum, famous from the red sand and rock formations. You will enjoy a full day hiking in Wadi Rum protected area through the beautiful different colors of sand. Hike through Um Salab and Um Ashreen to the Infasieh inscriptions. Close to this site you will also set up camp. Overnight private camping in Wadi Rum desert. (B, L, D)
Total of around 14 km hiking – around 6 hours.
Day 4: Wadi Rum
Today you will hike to the sand dunes, Lawrence’s House and to the Burdah Bridge. Overnight private camping at the Burdah Bridge in Wadi Rum desert. (B, L, D)
Total of around 19 km hiking – around 7 hours.
Day 5: Wadi Rum
Rise and shine! Hike today via Wadi Meharak to Barragh Canyon where you will set up camp.
Overnight private camping in Wadi Rum desert. (B, L, D)
Total of around 13-15 km hiking – around 5 hours.
Day 6: Wadi Rum
Hike via Siq Aba Awad to Disi Area where you will stop for lunch.
Total of around 10 km hiking – around 4 hours.
After lunch you could choose to hike for another 2 hours to your private campsite or to go by camel. Overnight private camping at Wadi Isaifaan. (B, L, D)
Day 7: Wadi Rum – Dead Sea
After breakfast transfer to the Dead Sea, lowest point on the earth’s surface. Float in the salty waters and try out the famous healing mud. Overnight at a 4* hotel at the Dead Sea. (B)
Day 8: Dead Sea — Amman Airport
Transfer to the Amman Queen Alia International Airport for departure, 3 hours in advance of your departure time. (2 hours for check in and less than 1 hour driving from the Dead Sea to the airport). (B)
