Day 1: Queen Alia International Airport – Amman Hotel
Arrival at the Queen Alia International Airport in Amman, our airport representative will wait for you before the immigration desk holding a sign with your name and will assist you with the visa procedures to get your free tourist visa (please don’t miss him and don’t proceed without him). Our airport representative will walk with you through customs and to the luggage hall. Then you will be transferred to your hotel in Amman for an overnight stay.
Day 2: Amman Hotel – Amman City tour – Jerash – Amman Hotel
After breakfast, tour the downtown part of capital city Amman for 2 hours, visiting sites and museums including the Archeological Museum, the Folklore Museum, The citadel, and the Amphitheatre. Everywhere you look there is evidence of the city’s much older past.
Then, drive on to Jerash to visit the world’s best preserved Roman provincial city. Jerash lies on a plain surrounded by hilly wooded areas and fertile basins. Conquered by General Pompey in 63 BC, it came under Roman rule and was one of the ten great Roman cities of the Decapolis League. Ending the day with a transfer back to Amman for an overnight stay. Day 3: Amman Hotel – Madaba (St. George Church) – Mt. Nebo – Karak – Dana Nature Reserve
After breakfast, Drive to St. George’s Church in Madaba to view the Madaba Map, also known as the Madaba Mosaic Map, a part of a floor mosaic in the early Byzantine church.
Then, continue to Mt. Nebo, from where Moses viewed the Promised Land. continue along the King’s Highway to Karak. The city of Karak (locally known as Al-Karak) is famed for the significant role it played during the Crusades. It is best known for Karak Castle, one of the largest crusader castles in the Levant.
Afterwards, transfer to Dana Nature Reserve with its amazing view. Dana is Jordan’s largest nature reserve, covering some 320 square kilometers of spectacular mountains and Wadis along the face of the Great Rift Valley. From scorching sand dunes in the west to cool mountaintops in the east, the Dana Biosphere Reserve is home to a great variety of wildlife. There are plants and animals’ characteristic of true desert, of Mediterranean forests and of the dry plains of Russia. Enjoy a walk together through this beautiful area. You could also explore the old village of Dana. Ending the day with an overnight stay in Dana Nature Reserve. (B)
Day 4: Dana Nature Reserve – Petra Visit – Petra Hotel
After breakfast, visit Petra, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of the seven wonders of the world. Petra was carved out of the rocky southern Jordanian desert by the Nabateans over 2000 years ago. What was then the capital of the Nabatean Kingdom, Petra was lost for 2000 years until it was rediscovered 200 years ago by a Swedish explorer. Over the past 200 years, more and more of Petra has been uncovered, and more treasures are still being uncovered to this day.
Here you will have a full-day guided tour. Enter through the Siq and visit the Treasury, Street of Facades, Theater, Colonnaded Street etc. After lunch, if time permits, visit the Monastery and/or the High Place of Sacrifice. It is a lot of climbing but definitely worth the views! Ending the day with an overnight stay in Petra. (B)
Optional activities for tonight: Petra by Night (every Monday, Wednesday and Thursday evening), Petra Kitchen cooking course, local Turkish Bath.
Day 5: Petra Hotel – 4-hour Jeep Tour in Wadi Rum – Wadi Rum Camp
After breakfast, drive to Explore Wadi Rum on a 1.30-hour jeep ride into the Jordanian desert! Wadi Rum was best described by T.E. Lawrence as “Vast, echoing and god-like”, and by the locals as “Valley of the Moon.” Along the way, enjoy a freshly prepared barbeque lunch. A jeep tour is the best way to discover many sites in Wadi Rum. The jeep will stop at each site giving you time to roam around and a chance to climb some of the beautiful natural formed bridges in Wadi Rum. Afterwards, enjoy a dinner and overnight at a camp in Wadi Rum.
Optional: before the jeep tour, enjoy a half-hour camel ride from Wadi Rum Village to Lawrence’s Spring.
Day 6: Wadi Rum Camp – Aqaba Hotel
After breakfast, transfer to Aqaba and check-in to your hotel. The rest of the day is yours. Explore Aqaba and it’s Red Sea coastal line. Aqaba is full of water activities such as snorkeling and diving. Feel free to enjoy the beach or roam around local markets. (B)

Day 7: Aqaba Hotel – Aqaba Free day – Aqaba Hotel
Today, enjoy a day of leisure and relaxation under the sun. (B)
Optional: enjoy water activities like Snorkeling, diving, or even a 2-hour cruise on the red sea.
Day 8: Aqaba Hotel – Dead Sea Hotel
After breakfast, transfer to the Dead Sea, the lowest point on Earth’s surface. Enjoy a free afternoon in the Dead Sea. You can float in the salty waters and try out the famous healing mud! Overnight at the Dead Sea. (B)
Day 9: Dead Sea Hotel – Queen Alia International Airport
After breakfast, head to Queen Alia International Airport for departure. Keep in mind that you need to be at the airport 3 hours prior to your departure time.
