Day 1: Queen Alia International Airport – Amman Hotel

Arrival at the Queen Alia International Airport in Amman, our airport representative will wait for you before the immigration desk holding a sign with your name and will assist you with the visa procedures (please don’t miss him or proceed without him). Our airport representative will walk you through customs and to the luggage hall, then you will be transferred to your hotel in Amman for an overnight stay.

Day 2: Amman Hotel – Amman city tour (Citadel + Roman Theater) – Jerash – Ajloun – Madaba Hotel

After breakfast, tour the downtown part of capital city Amman for 2 hours, visiting sites and museums including the Archeological Museum, the Folklore Museum, The citadel, and the Amphitheatre. Everywhere you look there is evidence of the city’s much older past. Then, head to visit the ancient Roman city of Jerash, including the paved and colonnaded streets, soaring hilltop temples, theatres, spacious public squares and plazas, baths, fountains and city walls. Then, continue to Ajloun to visit Ajloun Castle (Qal’at Ar-Rabad), a fine example of Islamic architecture as it was built by Saladin’s general in 1184 AD to control the iron mines of Ajloun, and to counter the progress of the Crusaders by dominating the three main routes leading to the Jordan valley and protecting the communication routes between Jordan and Syria. Ending the day with an overnight stay in Madaba.

Day 3: Madaba Hotel – Madaba (St. George Church) – Mt. Nebo – Dead Sea – Wadi Mujib 3-hour Siq Trail – Wadi Ibn Hamad Campsite

After breakfast, visit the St. George Church in Madaba with its famous mosaic map. Then, drive to Mt. Nebo from where Moses viewed the Promised Land. Continue to the Dead Sea, lowest point on the earth’s surface. Visit Wadi Mujib where you will hike the 2-3 hours Siq Trail. After the hike, enjoy a nice lunch at a hotel in the Dead Sea and a float in the Dead Sea salt water. At 3.30 pm, transfer to Wadi Ibn Hammad where you will be camping overnight in tents.

Day 4: Wadi Ibn Hammad Campsite – Wadi Ibn Hammad 4-hour hike – Karak Castle – Karak Campsite

Today you will get the chance to explore the beautiful canyon of Ibn Hamad. With hanging gardens and lots of small waterfalls it really is a beautiful and unique hike. The hike takes around 4 hours, and you will have lunch boxes with you. After the hike, transfer to Karak to visit the immense Crusaders Castle. Overnight camping in Taybeh area.

Day 5: Karak Campsite – 8-hour hike in Wadi Khodeera – Karak Hotel

After breakfast you will be hiking through Wadi Khodeera. You will walk through the mountains into the canyon until Sara’h Al Shaheed. Along the hike, enjoy lunch prepared and packed in the lunchbox you will be taking After the hike you will be transferred to your hotel in Karak for overnight.

Day 6: Karak – 7-hour hike to Afra Hot Spring – Little Petra Camp

After breakfast, drive to Tafilah where you will hike to the Afrah Hot Springs. The hike is only 8 km but takes around 7 hours, not an easy hike but a fun one that you can’t miss out on! Lunch will be served today between Burbaitah and Afrah area at Malaqi. After your hike you will be transferred direct to Little Petra for dinner and an overnight stay at a camp.

Day 7: Little Petra Camp – Petra Visit – Little Petra Camp

After breakfast, enjoy a full day to explore Petra, one of the seven world wonders. Entry by Siq and visit the Treasury, Street of Facades, Theater, Colonnaded Street etc. You will also have time to visit the Monastery and/or the High Place of Sacrifice today. It is a lot of climbing but definitely worth the views! Dinner and an overnight stay at a camp in Little Petra.

Day 8: Little Petra Camp – 7-hour hike in Wadi Ghwair – Little Petra Camp

After breakfast, transfer to Mansurah, the entrance of Wadi Gwair at Shobak. The hike takes around 7 hours. A stream runs down the Wadi and you may well find your feet in water. In the spring the pools maybe deeper and it is possible you might have to swim for a few meters. Lunch boxes are included for today. The canyon is beautiful, at the top there are magnificent formation and colors in the sandstone and lower down spectacular hanging gardens of fern and palms.

The tour will end at Feynan where the jeep is awaiting you to take you back to your camp in Little Petra for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 9: Little Petra Camp – Full day hike in Wadi Rum – Wadi Rum Camp

After breakfast, drive to Wadi Rum, famous from the red sand and rock formations. You will enjoy a full day hiking in Wadi Rum Disi area, through the beautiful different colors of sand. Along the way, enjoy lunch. Ending the day at a camp in Wadi Rum for Dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 10: Wadi Rum Camp – Camel Ride in Wadi Rum – Aqaba Hotel

After breakfast, enjoy a camel ride to visit several nice locations in Wadi Rum. Along the ride, enjoy lunch. Then, transfer to Aqaba for an overnight stay.

Day 11: Free Day in Aqaba

Today, enjoy a day of leisure and relaxation in Aqaba, the sole gulf city in Jordan. Enjoy an overnight stay in Aqaba.

Optional: enjoy snorkeling, book a lunch cruise and more options are available.

Day 12: Aqaba Hotel – Queen Alia International Airport

After breakfast, transfer to the airport for departure. You would need to leave the hotel 6 hours prior to departure time (2 hours for the check in and less than 4 hour driving from Aqaba to Amman Queen Alia International Airport).
